Praise God !!!

I just heard about the terrible car accident that some of the folks from Epic were involved in on Saturday morning! Praise God that no one was killed on the roadtrip! Let's keep all of them in prayer!

Bev called me back last night. A group of them were on their way to Las Vegas on Friday night.
F was driving and saw that a driver (drunk?) was coming right at them on their lane. F swiveled the rental van to get out of the way but unfortunately their vehicle ended up rolling over about three times. It's a miracle that no one was killed. The other driver continued down the road and hit two other cars. The most serious injury was a broken leg with the other accidents. I heard that police got the other driver.

About three quarters of the group were taken to the hospital in Barstow. Nance and Bev had to catch a ride to Baker, CA to wait at a Denny's. They were able to call some of their other friends who had already arrived in Vegas to pick them up. Both F and B got cut up in the accident with B requiring stitches. D wasn't buckled at the time of the accident and got tossed around when the van rolled. It sounded like his eardrum go torn or something. The rental van got totalled and was towed back to the rental place. Not sure it the vehicle was insured or not.

Please keep our friends in prayer for their various injuries, financial issues with the van, possible legal actions against the other driver, and for the emotional trama.
