TITLE: Zombie Portraits

TEXT: Haggai 2: 10-19
SYNOPSIS: God spends some time reminding Israel that they are faithless. But why? What about their renewed efforts to rebuild the temple? They wrestle with a powerful question, "why hasn't my obedience brought the blessing I seek?" And God tells them it's because they are like zombies.

SERIES: Focus: Haggai

TITLE: Under long shadows.

TEXT: Haggai 2: 1-9

SYNOPSIS: Ministry is hard, no doubt about it. What do you do when you fail? Caught between quitting and trusting in their own flesh to rebuild the temple, Haggai delivers the word from God to Israel; a promise that breaks us free to labor with hope again.
