Message: Shalom -Filling Pot Holes in My Lawn

We will take some time to consider how to address these pressing issues in a our own worlds, practically, and with hope. Just as Jesus never said, "Oh, never mind. I'll just wait for it all to burn," so too, we must consider how to give our own lives in the here and now to help the world.

Message: Toxic Waist

Perhaps the most compelling reason to care for the environment is thatevery environmental issue is a justice issue: the poor and powerless arealways affected first. Clearly this is central to the heart of Christ. Our appetite in the west leads to the direct distortion of life for less fortunate people.

MLB Padre game in SD

Me and the guys caught Saturday's Padres' game down in SD.

Walking to Petco Park

saw this no pooping sign on our way to Petco Park (not very doggy friendly are they?!).

We were checking out the history of baseball in SD (at Petco Park).

We found Carlos this really Big Glove

yum, grilled stadium food

Today's give away were these eco-friendly handbags (looks kind of foo foo to me).

Here's Rick at Petco Park NOT opening his bag.

We got there early enough to watch batting practice

Yum, Garlic Fries!

Petco Park "dog" (sounds wrong to me) and MORE Garlic Fries!

MLB Action at Petco Park: Astro vs Padres

We stayed till the 8th inning .... it was a nice experience and we had great seats! Thanks Carlos for organizing!
