SERIES: WHY? - Behind What We Do At Epic

MESSAGE: WHY OUR EVANGELISM IS DIFFERENT
TEXT: Selected Scriptures
SYNOPSIS: In this series, we take 10 common elements of our life as Epic and explain the thinking and theology behind these practices that shape our community. This week we explore the topic of evangelism. We understand that the best evangelism is the witness of our lives in community that gives reason and rise to Jesus rather simply the proclamation of "truth" propositions trying to convince people to convert.

SERIES: WHY? - Behind What We Do At Epic

MESSAGE: Why We Talk About Justice So Much
TEXT: Matt 25
SYNOPSIS: We talk a lot about justice. Why? Because it's the only way to talk about Jesus! Justice, at its heart, is a supernatural, all encompassing love for people, and it's central to who Jesus was and is. How can we pursue it? How can we have a heart of love like that?

SERIES: WHY? - Behind What We Do At Epic

MESSAGE: WHY we preach funny!
TEXT: John 14
SYNOPSIS: Church in the US has some assumptions about truth that get in the way of hearing Jesus sometimes. In our stories, we discover the same voice of God calling to us that calls to us from the Bible time and time again.
Taking our stories a part of the story the Bible testifies to is the goal of preaching, not providing more information.
