Is it me or does this TV season seems really slow?
Monday
“Heroes” another chapter about the mutants and their emerging powers. I hear that Hiro is getting a girl friend / love interest soon. Is the horn rimmed glass guy (cheerleader’s stepdad) evil or is he like Professor Xavier (in Xmen)?
“Prison Break” (DVR’d last three episodes … gotta catch up).
Tuesday
“ NCIS” (DVR’d the last two episodes and already the machine already deleted one before I could watch it). Gotta watch this week’s episode because a character gets blown up on a booby trapped golf bunker.
“Veronica Mars” (DVR’d the last two episodes … gotta catch up). I guess the season long mystery is who is the college campus serial rapist?!
Wednesday
“ Jericho” is getting pretty good but I hear that it’ going on hiatus after the December episode till February.
“Lost” First they kill off Mr Ecko last week, and now they got Jack holding Ben’s life in limbo while Kate choose James Ford aka “Sawyer” . And we got to see in flashback that Kate had married the guy from the Scifi series, “Firefly”.
Thursday
“Grey’s Anatomy”, another good episode where the men of Seattle Grace Hospital (and the bartender guy and his boyfriend) all go camping / fishing and leave all the women folks at the mercy of “McSteamy” aka Dr. Mark Sloan. In fact, thru the entire episode McSteamy is totally working his charm trying to get into Meredith’s pants but there’s a nice scene at the very end so I won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t seen it. Also, Christina got caught erasing another resident’s name from the board and her boss Dr. Bailey (aka “the Nazi”) knows it was her that took her off the “Humpty Dumpty” procedure from last week. Two interns get into a fight over a revelation that a loved one did the McNasty with McSteamy. Callie and Addison bonded. A pretty good episode.
Here is a spoilerish recap of last night's Grey's Anatomy episode.
“Smallville” (DVR’d the last two/three episodes) but I did see that it was a Thanksgiving episode and boy did they dumped a major bombshell toward the end (one of the characters is prego)!!
“The O.C.” Is this still on?! With no Mischa Barton, who’s watching this?!
Friday
“Battlestar Galactica” Wow! A chance to kill off all the Cylons but really? Are they really going to do this, there wouldn’t be any show if they had no one to chase the humans all the way to Earth (the 13th Colony)! Last week was pretty major, with now “Major” Lee Adam dropping all his chucky weight (of course, it wasn’t all that believable). So who caught on that Cylon Sharon’s new Colonial call sign, “Athena” (is the same name as Cmdr Adama’s daughter’s in the original series)? So with the revelation that Cylon use “projection” to define their environment (sort of like an individual holodeck for you remaing Trekkies out there) does that mean that Gaius Balter is a Cylon too (he seems to have very vivid visions of Cylon #6 quite often). Also, if there is a Cylon disease that wiped out an entire basestar won’t our Cylon Sharon aka “Athena” be affect as well since she’s pretty much the same as all the other Cylons?
Golf: Tiger Watch
Tiger is playing in Shanghai, China this weekend in the HSBC tournament. If you have the Golf Channel on cable you can still catch the last two rounds.
With Sadness, long time 60 Minute CBS Correspondent, Ed Bradley passed away yesterday from cancer. Just last week another notable CBS correspondent, Christopher Glenn also passed away (from Saturday morning “In the News” shorts for children).
So much for television … I’m gonna catch up with my newest DVD’s and getting ready for my mini vacation to Tucson, AZ next week (gonna support a bunch of cyclist and play a round of golf there on Friday).
