SERIES: Why Giving Is Go(o)d
TITLE: TITHING: ONE OF GOD'S GIFTS TO US
TEXT: Malachi 3:6-12SYNOPSIS: As we celebrate this Advent Season and the ultimate gift that is Jesus, we turn our thoughts toward our own giving and exploring why it is good and godly. This week we look at the practice of tithing. We will look at the evidence for tithing in Scripture as a regular, expected discipline that ultimately is good for us. We will answer questions such as Does the Bible teach a tithe? Does it still apply today? Does the full tithe go to the church? Is a tithe based on gross or net income? What happens if I don't tithe? What happens if I do?
