Sushi after work!

The gang at work went for sushi tonight at Agasse Sushi in Cypress; Chef Alan not only treated us with delightful creations but also a large dose of humor! It was just the doctor ordered for such a rainy dreary day!

Eating at the sushi bar!

Darren and Rox trying something new.

Salmon skin salad!

Yummy Tuna and Crunchy roll,

DB with a mouthful of EEL, YUM!

This was Rox's first trip to Agasse ... she went for the non-fishy stuff.

Rox even got some special treats from Chef Alan

Here are some unusally fares: fresh raw shimps and a crisp cricket (taste like beef jerky, I had three ... beats those water bugs that I had in China last year).

Fish Roe (eggs)

Dyamite appetizer and Green Mussels

A sweet ending, strawberry flavored mochi ice cream!

Busy Saturday!

I've been getting up early all this week since my mountain retreat. This morning was no exception. I woke at 6:30 am, it was already light outside and then it rained. Poof, the covers came over my head.

A couple hours later, I was up editing some DVR videos (mostly stuff from the Travel Channel and Food Network) to burn onto a DVD.

At 10:20, I was at EZ Lube getting an oil change. Since there was a longer wait, I walked next door to Molcasalsa for a breakfast burrito for THREE BUCKS (with eggs and sauage, TAKE THAT AIRPORT FOOD COURTS!).

Got some new wiper blades at Pepboys for $21 and a Sunday preview (coupons and ads) of the LA Times for a buck.

Had to go to Ralph's to pick up some groceries and tried to decide if I should:

a. Go to the Driving Range
b. Go to the Shooting Range
c. Do my taxes
d. Work on my Car and Clean my garage

I chose "d", it's cheaper than everthing else and less mentally challenging.

So when I got home, I fixed some rusty dings on my hood with the touch up paint and then spend two more hours cleaning up my garage; dumping old paperwork, etc ... found a lot of photos from my first China Trip and my Myers - Briggs test along the way. I'm an ESPF (whatever that means).

Had a really late lunch of Chef Boyardee "Overstuffed" Italian Sausage Ravioli "in Hearty Tomato & Meat sauce" at 4pm and Ingrid (Miss Veggie) comes by hang out with my roomie (Gamera San).

After getting cleaned up to go K & J's (now in Pomona) for dinner; my mom called to tell me things were going well (she just got out of the hospital yesterday)!

Drove up to Pomona to hang out with K & J at their new place. Andrew and Tiff were there too; we had a wonderful Shabu Shabu dinner (Thanks K & J)!! We saw UCLA beat up on LSU (yeah, Rebel FANS!).

We all jammed at ten till ten since we were losing an hour to Daylight Savings tonight!

Finally home and day is almost over (as soon as I finish this and upload the photos and do a load of laundry)! Can't decide if it's 11:04 PST or 12:04 PDST right now.
