MESSAGE: LIFE IN EDEN
TEXT: Genesis 2:4-17
SYNOPSIS: We're exploring the theme of vocation, with our ultimate vocation located in enjoying God and partnering with Him tending to where we've been planted. In our increasingly mobile and transitory way of life, it is tempting to avoid committing to things because we don't know we're we'll be in [blank] number of years. But the downside is that we might miss out on the people and experiences we were supposed to enjoy during that time, people and experiences leading to real growth in us. Instead of believing that life is always in the "next place," maybe life in Eden teaches us to take more seriously what's in front of us today, right where we're planted.
