Message: John 1:19-34

Synopsis: Following the prologue of advent, John's gospel begins where the other gospels do as well, with the introduction of John the Baptizer; here he is the bridge to the Word becoming flesh and appearing as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.  John acts as a precursor and sign that points to the Son of God in their midst.  How can we be people and a community whose lives and voices also point to Jesus?

Message:  INTERRUPTED; The Galatian Problem

Synopsis: Finally, Paul invokes the Holy SpiriT!  In a piece of searing rhetoric, Paul explains why the Mosiac law is an enslaving curse but the Holy Spirit brings freedom.  Faith is a trust that God is good, not that he has provided means to make onesself acceptable.

Synopsis:  The premise of this series is that more than thinking or believing beings, we are called to love.  In short, we are what we love. As human beings, the issue is not whether we love, but what we love.  This is about worship.  Biblical and experiential, we love because God loved us first.  And he keeps loving us.  This message will explore the unending love of God for us and our response as love in return.
