TITLE: MY BOOK: Our Favorite Scripture Passages (Anne Hong)
TEXT: MARK 9:33-50
SYNOPSIS: The appreciating the intricacy of the word, the helpfulness of doing something practical to deal with our sin, seeing a picture of how gracious and patient Jesus is with us, even in the worst of our sin… How is that you envision Jesus interacting with you over the worst brokenness in your life, and how does Mark 9 speak into that? Some of us see Jesus as harsh, dismissive, punitive, unaware, uncaring, etc. What is it that God might be saying to you about how He wants to interact with us, particularly in the midst of our sin?

TITLE: MY BOOK: Our Favorite Scripture Passages
TEXT: Ephesians 3:14-21
SYNOPSIS: In this series, the four of us will share about one of our favorite passages of Scripture. In addition to expositing the text, we'll also be sharing why and how these verses have come to have such special meaning for us. A little bit of Scripture, a little bit of story. Our hope is that as we share our own favorites, each person will be encouraged to think about their own favorite verses, about the special way God has used Scripture to speak profoundly to them. This week I take up the prayer and benediction of the Apostle Paul for the church. Both personally and as a pastor, I have desired to make this my own prayer and goal - to grasp in our inner being, the expanse of Christ's love in all its fullness.

TITLE: SolFul
TEXT: Luke 8:26-39
SYNOPSIS: Our commitment as Epic to the City of Fullerton looks SolFul this summer! As a church, we want our community to be a better place to live and learn for everyone. For 7 weeks beginning in June, in 3 great neighborhoods, we join hands with several of our church partners to serve thousands of children in our city. This week, we'll explore the various ways we can engage in the programs being offered in art, sports, and education. And more than that, we will revisit our value for justice, our philosophy of ministry to the poor, and why SolFul makes sense.
