Busy Sunday - April 9th

Wow, Daylight Saving really does make a differences!

I had to be at church 9 am today to help setup. We had plenty of help today and was able to make a run to Starbuck before our Sunday celebration began.

Here's Samarui Princess and her similarly dressed "twin" this morning. She led an awesome worship this morning.

Some of the eight member Epic Houston team shared about their project. Special guest was Jerry from Oasis USA.

Clarence shared his testimony.

Pastor Kev preached on "Presence".

After church, some of us attended a luncheon at Souplantation for Brittney who's leaving Epic to attend her boyfriend's church. We're miss her sweet presence.

Went hiking with Mel, Philip, Grace and Fiona at Chino Hill State Park. It was beautiful out there and very breezy! Thanks Mel for organizing!

At the end of our hike we saw all the warnings about Mountain Lions.

Fiona saw a dead snake on the road.

After hiking, we went to Lu Garden in Rowland Heights. The speciality at Lu's Garden is congee (rice porridge). Carlos joined us. It was pretty good.

Busy Saturday 2

Another busy Saturday for Delta Boy:

9 am Sat in on a Design Meeting for Epic Church till 11:30.

Noon to 1:00pm at Golfer's Paradise, working on consistancy.

1:15 pm at home, late lunch (leftovers from House Church dinner).

3:28 pm at Curry House in Cypress to pick up dinner for the Wong's.

4:39 pm at the Wong's in Sierra Madre, visit with Harry and Julie, meet baby Nathan, and help set up digital photos files on the Wong's PC.

6pm at Golfsmiths in Pasadena, "mouse in a cheese factory mentality" ... ended up with a new Nike Golf hat & tee shirt.

Pick up favorite coffee blend at Peet's in Pasadena (Major Dickason's blend).

Caught a rare glimples of the Pasadena foothills with fog bank rolling over the top ... had to drive up Eaton Canyon Road to see more.

Fought traffic back to The O.C. to meet Carlos for dinner. Going for the new Yardhouse in Brea, ended up going to BJ's instead.

Made it back home at 11pm.

Introducting Nathan Wong (and his folks)

Here's Baby Nathan Christopher Wong!

Fullerton House Church - April 7th

After a four week break (due to cancellation, church retreat, and scheduling changes) we met for house church again. Attendance was alittle low probably due to Daylight Savings.

Our "No -Theme" Potluck dinner was interesting. The menu was chicken (fried), chicken (hot wings), chicken (pot pie), chicken katsu, and tofu & rice.

Kong, Mel and Jed led worship tonight!! They were awesome!

Tonight was sharing from Erin & Kevin.

Golfer's Paradise Tonight

I was itching to get out to the driving range in between rain storms so I left work right at 5:00 and went home to get my clubs. My rib muscle was finally feeling pretty good after a couple weeks off.

I couldn't wait to try out the "new" set of irons that I recently got.

I actually hit more good balls than bad!

A good hour and half workout tonight!
